Water Water Everywhere
Here is a before and after picture of Cedar Rapids. For a couple days there was only one way to get through Cedar Rapids. The water went beyond the 500 year flood plain. We are safe here in Marion away from the smell and destruction. However we are going without showers due to the mandatory ordinace to conserve water, so maybe not far from the smell.

Thanks Nick, this will be a nice way to keep up with pictures, etc.

Awesome - so glad you guys did this. I can't believe how bad things are in cedar rapids - crazy! Stay DRY!!
Nick - Your stories need a better story line to draw your readers in. Maybe you should have Sam look them over for you. If I'm going to take the time to read them they better be at least half way intersting. We don't want to hear about you and that you beat this person you call dad twice in horse "who cares". We want stories of Ava and I think most will agree.
Sam, Nick & Ava,
Great pictures!! Poor baby has to swim in a wheel barrel. Ava you better come to Grandma M's house to swim. You stay safe and dry. We will see you soon! Lots of Love and hugs,
Mom & Dad M.
Nick, Glad to hear that you missed the flooding at your house. The landscaping looks great!! Tell the family that John & Brooke say hi!
P.S. Sometimes I dream of singing "dust in the wind" with the bizehodow's again
This is Grandma k...I love your blog and i travel 2 1/2 miles to the neighbors every night to read it...Ava is as cute as ever but I agree with Grandma S she needs to come to the Grandmas to swim.
